Wire

Technical solutions that matter, now and in the future

In wire flame spraying, two mostly aluminium (or similar) wires are unwound from two spools and melted by means of an electric current. The resulting, already partially oxidised melt, is sprayed onto the substrate by an air stream. This allows writing on the product with the help of scribing.

This process is mainly used for marking cold to hot slabs, but can in principle also be used for all other steel products.
